iOS & Android

Apps that feel native, because the details are treated as the product.

iOS and Android, built natively or with React Native depending on the product, sharing logic with your web platform where that makes sense.

What is included

Every engagement covers the whole job.

  • Platform strategy

Native, React Native, or a well-built web app: the honest recommendation for your product and budget.

  • Interface design

Designed for touch, platform conventions, and the moments people actually use the app.

  • Build for both platforms

iOS and Android from one codebase where sensible, with native modules where performance demands it.

  • Offline and sync

Apps that keep working on a bad connection and reconcile cleanly when it returns.

  • Store submission

Listings, screenshots, review guidelines, and release management for both stores.

  • Analytics and crash reporting

You know how the app is used and when it fails, from day one.

Overview

A mobile app is judged in the first ten seconds: how it launches, how it scrolls, how it responds under a thumb. We build with that in mind, choosing native or cross-platform based on what the product needs rather than what is convenient for us.

Where a web platform already exists, the app shares its data layer and business logic, so features ship once and behave the same everywhere.

Approach

How we build mobile

Performance is designed, not optimised at the end: list virtualisation, image handling, and animation on the native thread are decided at the start. Releases go through TestFlight and internal tracks before they reach anyone else.

  • Expo
  • Swift
  • Kotlin
  • TypeScript
  • SQLite
  • Firebase

How it runs

A typical mobile build

From platform decision to store release.

  1. 01

    Decide the platform

Native or cross-platform, argued on the product's needs and written down.

  2. 02

    Prototype the core flow

The three screens people use most, on real devices, before anything else.

  3. 03

    Build and test on devices

Weekly builds to your phone through TestFlight and internal testing tracks.

  4. 04

    Submit and release

Store listings, review, and a staged rollout to a percentage of users first.

Questions

Things clients ask before they start.

  • It depends on the product. Most business apps are well served by React Native with native modules where needed. Apps that lean on camera, sensors, or heavy graphics may justify fully native builds.
